• who would benefit from an academic head start to the coming new school year;
   
• who are bored in the month of August and don't know what to do with themselves;
   
• who learn better in a teacher directed learning environment;
   
• whose skills get rusty over the summer and get off to a slow start in a new school year;
   
• who have birthdays later in the year and are younger than many children in their class;
   
• who are making that difficult jump to grade 4, or to grade 7 in senior public,
   
• who have completed their grade 8 year and are facing the challenges of credits at the high school Academic or Applied levels;
   
• who need a little extra help with Reading, Writing, Spelling, Phonics, and/or Arithmetic and Mathematics;
   
• who could use a good dose of academic self confidence

At both our Waterloo location (420 Weber Street, North) and at our Kitchener location (888 Trillium Drive) the Head-Start Summer School program continues for three weeks, full days, five days a week.  There are discounts for early registration. The Head-Start Summer School program in Waterloo is usually filled by the middle of June each year.  Please register early.
